Tanya Swain and Tricia Cook have been colleagues for over 10 years. Together they managed Western Mountains Alliance, a nonprofit organization providing sustainable economic and community development to four counties in western Maine. In 2014, the Western Mountains Alliance merged with Maine Rural Partners, allowing Tanya and Tricia to launch Small Fish Consulting Group, LLC.
What People are Saying:
Swain and Cook bring many years experience improving agricultural public policy (the big picture) and assisting individual small businesses with how to improve their bottom line with better technology (the small, but more important work). They are forward thinkers, and are well connected with nonprofit organizations as well as small business support services. You will be impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and fun with which they do their work. I highly recommend them for any project or business consultant work you may need.

My experience with Tricia and Tanya of Small Fish Consulting, both as a vendor and a client, has been extremely gratifying and productive. They are savvy professionals who have a clear vision of the product they want to deliver, and they have the knowledge, creativity and passion to go for it. I look forward to working with them again.

I have worked with Tricia and Tanya for many years. For our organization the most important factor we consider when working with someone is whether they share our vision and will act as our partners in realizing that vision. At every turn Tricia and Tanya have been our partners and weighed in with broad consideration, clarity, vision and real world solutions. Their can-do approach has been instrumental in helping to move Harvest to Market forward. Working through their new organization, Small Fish Consulting Group, we hope to continue to work with them for many years to come.
